VIRAT KOHLI,THE FUTURE CAPTAIN


VIRAT KOHLI,a ordinary name of a Delhi boy who has now  made an identity as a very trustable and reliable  cricketer because of his extraordinary batting for the team.3 years back he was struggling to play in INDIA XI and now has become a permanent and important player in Indian team.At this moment of time no one has any hesitation to say that Virat  Kohli is the no.1 batsman and a rising star in the horizon of cricket.Due to his hard work,dedication,zeal and devotion towards cricket he has now created many milestones in cricket and will surely create millions in future.People have already  started comparing him with the god of cricket,master blaster Sachin Tendulkar .He has emerged as a cricketer who can play long and dependable innings under pressure.He,till now in his career has made 11 centuries and is the fastest Indian to do so.Born in Delhi in1988,he, always dreamt of being a cricketer.It was his father,late  Mr. Prem Kohli who supported his dreams strongly and sent him to West Delhi Cricket Academy where he started learning cricket at the age of 10.His brother,Vikash Kohli was also sent with him.His coach,Raj Kumar Sharma,said that there were many players in the academy but there was something very special in Virat which has led him so far.He first came in spotlight when U-19 Indian cricket team won the world cup in 2008 in Malasiya under his captaincy and after that there was no looking back by the Delhi lad.He went on doing his best and now the result is right before everybody's eyes.He made his Ranji debut in 2006-07 session.During a match against Karnataka,Delhi was struggling and the only thing they could do was save an innigs defeat.Virat was on 40* when he heard that his father passed away.The day ended and everybody thought that he will not go back to play the next day but he had planned something else.He went on the ground and played a mind-boggling innings of 90 runs and was out because of a wrong decision by the umpire.He left the ground in tears.After that only he went for his father's cremation.this shows his dedication towards cricket.He is one of the best fielders present in Indian team at this particular moment of time.He has taken 41 catches in ODIs out of which some are very impressive.The selectors gambled as they made him the vice captain of the Indian cricket team having Gautam Gambhir in the squad, but by the scores of 108,66 and 183,he proved that why he was chosen as the vice captain and put a big lock on the mouth of critics. He really has got all the qualities of being a successful captain and an eminent player of all times.
